Business Description

UPDC Real Estate Investment Trust is a Nigeria-based close-ended real estate investment trust. The Company’s principal activity is to pool investment in a diversified portfolio of real estate in Nigeria. It is engaged in the acquisition, development, sale, and management of a diverse mix of commercial, residential, hospitality and retail assets across Nigeria. The primary objective of the Company is to enable investors to earn stable income while preserving capital over the long term, by ensuring stable cash distributions from investments in a portfolio of income-producing real estate property and to improve and maximize unit value through the management of the Trust's assets, acquisitions, and development of additional income-producing real estate property. Its investment properties include Abebe Court, Victoria Mall Plaza I, Victoria Mall Plaza II, UAC Complex, Kingsway Building, and Pearl Hostel. The Company is managed by Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited.
