Construction of a modern slaughterhouse and national livestock markets

The main objective of the project is to meet the outdated slaughterhouse in Dakar, whose equipment is obsolete and the sizeing does not allow the increasing demand for meat from the population of Dakar to be addressed. Consequently, the Government of Senegal has decided to build a new complex comprising a slaughterhouse and a livestock market, as well as the restructuring of the current slaughterhouse in Dakar into a meat hall, as is now being done in modern cities.
