LAPTRUST IMARA I-REIT (the REIT) is a Kenya-based closed-ended real estate investment trust (REIT). The principal business objective of the REIT is to generate net income for distribution to the Securities Holders from rental income and improve returns over the REITs term as well as grow the asset base of the REIT. The REIT portfolio holds l00% of income producing real estate assets. Its business strategy is to minimize rental payment risk by structuring a diversified tenant pool with a variety of characteristics, to acquire real estate assets, to finance purchases of real estate assets, and to issue new units and increase the size of the balance sheet in the long-term. The REIT wholly owns the investment properties, such as Pension Towers, CPF House, Freedom Height Mall, Nova Pioneer Eldoret Campus, and Freedom Heights Service Plot.
