Description

The Rehabilitation of Independence Stadium has entered its third phase, and is expected to be finished by February 2026. Ongoing works are pitch restoration, safety upgrades, and new athletic tracks and the cost 83 million Dalasi. When complete, it will meet the requirement of FIFA and CAF, used for multi-purpose activities not limited to football matches, but also athletics, political events, concerts, national celebration among others. It can generate revenue for GOTG through the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
