Overview

Lot 6 of the West Coast Region EPC roads is a public road project covering three routes between urban and peri-urban communities south of the Banjul conurbation. The Government of The Gambia reports approximately 28 km across the Youna–Jambur–Jalangbang–Brikama, Jambur–Baniaka–Kunkujang–Tujereng and Old Yundum–Tawto–Jabang links.

Works include road construction and associated drainage, street lighting, signage, road-safety equipment and guardrails. The project is intended to improve connectivity, travel conditions and road safety in the West Coast Region.

The government portal reports 80% completion and a July 2026 estimated completion date. As that date has passed while the project remains listed at 80%, no replacement completion date is stated without an updated official schedule.
