Côte d'Ivoire - Study on the development of wastewater treatment and reuse value chains

The project follows a request submitted to the Bank by the Government of Côte d’Ivoire on 11 December 2024. It will contribute to the sustainable development of the Abidjan district by improving access to safe and ecological sanitation, while protecting lagoon and marine environments and promoting low-impact environmental practices. The project is an investment preparation activity, as it complements actions already undertaken by AFD and creates enabling conditions for subsequent phases within the framework of the Yopougon Municipality Sanitation Project (PACY). The total cost of the project (up to the preliminary design stage) is estimated at five hundred eighty-seven thousand (587,000) euros.
