The present intervention is related to the improvement of non-collective sanitation services through public-private partnership. The operation of the only operational station already poses a problem for ONAD in its management. In view of the plan to deploy STBVs nationwide by 2022, it is essential to strengthen its partnership with the private sector for their operation and the provision of more efficient services. It is with this in mind that this project has been developed to strengthen NADO's capacity to delegate sanitation services to the private sector. It comprises three (03) main components: (i) delegation of non-collective sanitation services, (ii) promotion of access to sanitation services, (iii) project management. The project is scheduled to be implemented over a period of 36 months. Its overall cost is estimated at 1,002,000 Euros, of which 910,000 Euros from AWF and 92,000 Euros from the State of Côte d'Ivoire.
