Edgars Stores Limited is a Zimbabwe-based retailer of clothing, footwear, textiles and accessories. The Company operates through two business units: manufacturing and retailing. The Company operates through six segments: Retailing, Manufacturing, Microfinance, Financial Services, and Corporate Head Office. Its products are retailed through two brands: Edgars and Jet. The Edgars offers fashion merchandise for the whole family. The Jet combines clothing, as well as items sold by general dealers, such as white goods, kitchenware, hardware and a variety of other goods. Carousel (Private) Limited is the Company’s manufacturing business unit, which produces a range of denim, ladies, children’s and gents casual wear that it supplies to retail divisions under its brand name Carousel. Club Plus (Private) Limited is the Company’s microfinance business unit, which offers micro finance loans to the lower to middle income customer group under the brand name Club Plus.
