Business Description
Unga Group Plc is a Kenya-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of human nutrition products, animal nutrition products, and the distribution of animal health products. The Company’s segments include Human Nutrition, Animal Nutrition and Health. The Human Nutrition segment produces products for human consumption. The Animal Nutrition and Health segment produces animal feeds and mineral supplement products and distributes products for animal health. Its brands include Viminera, Nemazole, Almatix, k9 Dog Food, Champion, Fugo, Leoxy, and Vigosine. Almatix is a spectrum, oil-based acaricide with amitraz which kills ticks, mites, lice, and keds in all classes of livestock. FUGO feeds provide the source of nutrition and nutrient supplements for farm animals, ensuring higher productivity per shilling spent. FUGO products include Race Horse Cubes, Horse Meal, and Catfish Finisher, among others. Nemazole is an antiparasitic drug that kills gastrointestinal parasites.
