Business Description
East Africa Cables Plc is a Kenya-based cable manufacturer in the East and Central African region. The Company operates three manufacturing facilities: two in Nairobi and one in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It supports the power eco-system from generation, transmission, distribution and last mile connectivity through provision of cables, conductors, and related accessories. Its diversified product range includes Halogen free fire-retardant cables, aerial bundled conductors and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated armored cables in addition to the polyvinyl chloride insulated cables and bare aluminum conductors. It provides vital support to power utilities, power infrastructure projects, industrial applications and domestic wiring, including solar lighting. Its other products include house wiring copper cables, flexible cables, power and control cables, welding cables, submersible cables, auto and battery cables, aluminum overhead conductors, and super enameled winding wire.
