Business Description
Telekom Networks Malawi PLC is engaged in providing telecommunication services. It operates a fourth generation (4G) network enabling advanced broadband multimedia services, in addition to second generation (2G) and third generation (3G) networks. It has two reportable segments: Telecommunications and Mobile money. The Telecommunications segment provides a wide range of communications and products and services. The Mobile money segment provides a wide range of mobile money services which among other services, include money transfers, cash withdrawals, bill payments, cash deposits, and merchant payments. Its products and services include Prepaid Tariff Plans, Value Added Services, Voice Services, Bundles, International Dialling and Roaming, Office Connectivity, Office Telephony, SME Communications, Home Broadband, Hosting, Cloud, Mobile Advertising, and Mobile Phone Contracts. It has a wholly owned subsidiary, TNM Mpamba Limited, which is engaged in providing mobile money services.
