Orascom Development Egypt SAE, formerly Orascom Hotels and Development SAE, is an Egypt-based company engaged in the real estate sector. The Company is an integrated developer of resort towns in Egypt, with a vertically-integrated business model involving the development of residential units, hotels, and recreational facilities, such as golf courses, town centers, and marinas, in addition to supporting infrastructure, such as hospitals, schools, and utilities. The Company owns a land bank of approximately 50 million square meters across the following destinations: El Gouna, Taba Heights, Makadi Heights, Fayoum and O West, as well as more than 20 hotels with a total of approximately 5,000 rooms. The Company is a subsidiary of Orascom Development Holding (ODH).
