The proposed operation is a grant of UA 350,000 from the Middle Income Countries Technical Assistance Fund (MIC TAF) to the Republic of Zambia for the design of a sustainable, technically feasible, economically and financially sound, gender sensitive and climate resilient project for improving Lusaka city’s water supply infrastructure project. The MIC TAF Grant shall be used to finance the consultancy services for the Feasibility Study and detailed designs including an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and associated Environmental Social Management Plan and Resettlement Action Plan. The study will therefore facilitate the smooth preparation thorough data generation for the proposed project and therefore increase the chances of achieving its objectives when implemented.
