750 MW hydropower station (5 × 150 MW units) on the Kafue river. EPC contractor: Sinohydro Corporation Ltd. EPC contract grew from USD 1.48bn to USD 2.0bn. Financing 85% Exim Bank of China + ICBC syndicate (USD 1.53bn buyer's credit). Construction 2015–2021; fifth unit commissioned 24 Mar 2023
