Description

Management submits these proposals and recommendations for an AfDB loan of EUR 90 million (UA 74 million) and an AFAWA grant of USD 2.5 million financed from We-Fi resources to the Republic of Tunisia to finance the Support Programme for Business Competitiveness and Empowerment of the Population through Job Creation(CAP-Emplois).The programme is the Bank's first operation in Tunisia that uses results-based financing (RBF). It will help to improve people’s living conditions by developing the skills of young people and women, supporting entrepreneurship (including integration of the informal sector), and creating jobs. The project contributes to climate finance, with 10 million USD of the total approved amount dedicated to adaptation.
