Description

This operation consists of ADB Sovereign loan of USD 66 million (UA 50 million) consisting of an appeal by the Government of Tanzania (GoT) to the AfDB for support to enhance the capital of Tanzania Agriculture Development Bank (TADB). TADB is a government-owned Development Finance Institution (DFI) established with the primary objective of facilitating the provision of financial and non-financial products and services to the agricultural sector in Tanzania. The project contributes to climate finance, with 26 million USD of the total approved amount dedicated to adaptation.
