DART Phase 3

The DART system spans 23.6 km from the Old Postal Office in the city center to the Gongo la Mboto neighborhood in the southwest, with a branch from Kariakoo through Uhuru to TAZARA. The corridor includes Maktaba Street, Bibi Titi Mohammed Street, Julius Nyerere Road, Mandela Road (TAZARA to Buguruni), and Uhuru Street. Phase 3 is designed to include 174 trunk buses with a capacity of 140–160 passengers and 399 feeder buses with a capacity of 60–80 passengers. A total of 31 stations have been proposed for this corridor.
