Description

The Kibaha-Morogoro road is experiencing high congestion and poor service, requiring immediate attention due to increased economic activities. An expressway is proposed to reduce travel time from Kibaha to Chalinze from 2 hours to 1 hour. The project will be implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement, with road users being charged for road usage. The toll expressway will be constructed parallel to the existing Morogoro road, allowing non-toll road users to continue using the existing road.
