Western Agro-industrial Processing Zone Project (West Agropole)

The project is designed to help the agricultural, livestock and fisheries sectors in Senegal. The private sector will be responsible for developing the processing, storage, distribution and marketing of food products and related services. The private sector will also be able to take charge of the construction of certain market infrastructures, the promotion of agro-policies and their exploitation. The State will provide support in the form of: - Financing of the structural infrastructures of the Agropolies - Support for the development of agricultural production - Implementation of incentives (taxes and non-taxes) for investment attraction within the Agropolies
