NIGERIA - Ekiti Knowledge Zone Project

The Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ) is conceived as a world class knowledge park which leverages on Ekiti’s comparative advantage to create a vibrant ecosystem of innovative businesses and a conducive environment for collaboration, innovation and technology transfer in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and the four-point agenda outlined by the State Governor. The development shall be structured as a Public-Private Partnership, with Ekiti State Government providing land, and the required infrastructure to make the site conducive for investors and stakeholders. The project contributes to climate finance, with 56 million USD of the total approved amount dedicated to mitigation.
