Description

The technical assistance project for dam design, river development and interconnection studies is of great importance to the Government of Morocco through the Direction des Aménagements Hydrauliques of the Direction Générale de l'Hydraulique. It will make it possible to assess the technical feasibility of large and small dam, river protection and interconnection projects before they are launched, and to ensure the most appropriate project design by providing technical expertise. The project consists of a grant totalling UA 158,648.00 to the Kingdom of Morocco from the resources of the Technical Assistance Fund for Middle Income Countries (TAF-MIC). The project comprises two components: (i) Technical assistance for dam design and interconnection studies; (ii) Management, monitoring and coordination.
