The Republic of Guinea has adopted a vision, Vision Guinée 2040, which aims to build an emerging and prosperous country by 2040, in control of its own destiny, ensuring a high level of well-being for its people and guaranteeing the future for generations to come. For rural development, the government has adopted a National Agricultural Development Policy (PNDA), which is being implemented through its planning framework, the National Agricultural Investment Plan for Food and Nutritional Security (PNIASAN) 2018-2025.) The Government has also developed a National Strategy on Climate Change to address the challenges and risks associated with climate change, including in the agricultural sector.
