Development OF Deep Seaport Project In Sanyang

Pre-construction engineering works, including bathymetric and geotechnical surveys, have begun at the Sanyang Deep Seaport project. These surveys are essential for designing the new infrastructure and facilities. The project aims to accommodate larger, deeper draft vessels, potentially reducing Gambia’s high freight charges compared to neighboring ports. Construction at the Sanyang Deep Seaport site is expected to start early next year, March 2026.
