Côte d'Ivoire - Diversification, Industrial Acceleration, Competitiveness and Employment (DAICE)

The “Diversification, Accelerated Industrialisation, Competitiveness and Employment (DAICE)” programme seeks to strengthen the Government’s efforts to promote economic diversification, green transition and industrial development. More specifically, it aims to support reforms and investments in public goods required to develop the private sector, de-risk the financing of SMEs and innovative start-ups, develop new sectors, promote green transition in the industrial sector, support the competitiveness of enterprises and their exports, and create jobs. In this way, the programme aims to contribute to the emergence of new sectors, support the competitiveness of enterprises and their exports, promote the greening of the industrial sector and create jobs. The programme focuses on three results areas: (1) Enhancement of the Competitiveness of PND 2021-2025 Priority Clusters; (2) Improvement of Access to Financing for SMEs; and (3) Support for the Diversification and Promotion of Private Investment. Programme activities will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of clusters, improving access to financing for enterprises, increasing industrial investment and creating jobs. The project contributes to climate finance, with 90 million USD of the total approved amount dedicated to mitigation.
