Cape Verde - Technology Park Project

The project involves the construction and equipment of Data centre, Business centre, Incubation centre and Training and Qualification centre with ICT facilities. It will support innovation that would foster inclusive and green growth. The project will contribute significantly to other sectors of the country’s economy such as education, healthcare and other services. At its core, this project entails the installation and management of cutting-edge computer storage and processing facility and the provision of knowledge resources that will facilitate the development and transformation of government processes and private sector businesses. The Park will be located in Praia in an area of 8 hectares which is about 3 kilometers from the Praia International Airport. The project will be implemented within a period of 48 months starting from 2013. The total estimated cost of the project is 35.9 million Euro (UA 30.7 million).
